Matchstick is a 2005,
red roan, 15.1h Registered Quarter Horse gelding that was bred and broke on a
Texas cattle ranch. He worked cows for 60 days before we purchased him and
brought him to Virginia.
He has a lovely
temperament and is quiet. He walks, trots, and canters quietly and is
jumping small fences. He trail rides beautifully and has participated in
several hunt trail rides and clinics.
Matchstick is a
lovely mover and athletic. He will be suited to any discipline but we
definitely think he will excel as an event horse or foxhunter for a child or
small adult. Matchstick will be hilltopping in VA for the 2008 hunt season
and will event Beginner Novice in the Spring 2009.
He is a steal now at
$8,500.00. His price will increase with his experience.
