"Shine"

Shine is a four year old, registered quarter horse gelding
measuring a perfect large pony size at 14.1 ¼.
He came from the same farm in
Amarillo Texas that gave us Matchstick and Chipotle.
Like them, he has
cow sense and has been under tack for over a year.
With four flashy white
socks, this palomino is a good mover and a superb jumper with excellent form
over fences.
He has a quiet temperament, is easy to work around, and has the
usual good manners of these quarter horses…..loads, ties, clips, and is low
maintenance.
Shine spent the three winter months of 2008-2009 in Georgia
with the Fox River Valley Hounds.
He hunted in a fox pen several times and
spent time in the kennels becoming accustomed to all the noise and movements of
the hounds.
He has been trail ridden extensively and is willing over show jumps
as well as cross country fences.
He
is also trained in hobbles
His leads changes are EXCELLENT and he has unlimited
potential as a local show pony, foxhunter, pony club mount, or pleasure pony.
He can easily be ridden on a loose rein and has a wonderful rhythm in the
canter.
Rise is now back in Middleburg, VA and will
be showing locally and hacking out cross country until he finds his forever
home.
